This week I had a look at a ‘view’ book for some inspiration, here are a few images i’ve selected a few images of what i liked and may use for some inspiration. These books are really interesting and perfect to go to if your having a head block and dont know where your design ideas are going.

In our second week we took a trip to London, while I was in London I visited the design museum, where Azzedine AlaÏa had his exhibition which was incredible. I will be using Azzedine AlaÏa as inspiration as i think he is so incredibly talented. I also went to Dova Street Market while I was in London, Unfortunately your not allowed to take photos so i only got a photo of a couple of things. Dova Street Market was such an experience and fills your head with great ideas.

Heya, my name is Leona Wilkinson. I am currently studying at Cardiff Metropolitan University studying Fashion Design. Before i started studying at Cardiff Met, i studied Art and Design at Penwith College. I am 18 and from a little town in Cornwall called St Ives, in my spear time I like to spend time outside taking my dog for walks and spending time with my horse galloping on beaches.

My first project when i arrived at uni was the 24 hour challenge, making a garment out of a shape we were given, I was given a triangle, i focused on pleats with mine and what sort of shape i got with that. this is my final outcome, i am very pleased with this.
